Specie insurance provides cover for valuable property such as jewellery, precious metals, valuable documents and all types of collectibles including fine art. Our specie underwriter has over 30 years' experience in this market, with 20 years in underwriting positions, and is ideally placed to answer any queries.

Jewellers' Block

All risks coverage for jewellers including retailers, wholesalers and manufacturers within the UK or abroad. Policies are flexible and can include, subject to agreed limits, such extensions as cover for items away from the insured premises, exhibitions, cover against items purchased and subsequently discovered to have been stolen (pound breach), cover to items whilst being worked upon, wearing of items and fidelity guarantee.

Commercial Fine Art

All risks coverage for dealers of fine art, antiques, museums (private or civic) and galleries. In common with other products, we can offer extensions to the standard policy to include stock at exhibitions, cover against items purchased and subsequently discovered to have been stolen (pound breach), cover to items whilst being worked upon, cover against the risk of purchased items discovered to be fake.

Private Jewellery

A stand-alone all risks policy that caters for private jewellery collections (including watches) and provides a choice of either UK/Europe or worldwide cover.

Private Collections

An all risks policy that provides cover for personal or corporate collectibles of any nature.
